Sick trees without leaves with scorched soil underneath
Their roots expose themselves like bones and stamps are to be left as gravestones

A blinding light in deafening silence
Turned Birthnight into Judgement Day
With pride we reach apogee of violence
With thumbs up raised we observe the Great Collapse

Every tree we all used to be could bring in life by leaving seeds
Every tree in the end will fall. Our legacy’s the only thing to be left at all

But I have seen this grove’s being engulfed in flames
With smoke has driven all birds away
Inch by inch we’re coming closer to the edge
Turning heads back in faith to see if something’s changed

The kiss of believer and sinner will harmonize in our ears overwhelming lies
If only we could see acceptance as a key
